About

grambid is a leaderboard you can buy your way up.

One list of Instagram accounts, ranked purely by how much has been bid on each one. That's the whole idea.

How it works

  1. Someone submits an Instagram handle — a @handle or a profile URL. Nothing else is accepted.
  2. We check the account exists, then take a payment starting at ₹99.
  3. Once the payment is confirmed, that amount is added to the account's running total. Bids stack; they never replace each other.
  4. The board re-sorts by total, descending. To get past someone, you put in more than they have.

There are no accounts and no passwords. The Instagram handle someone paid for is the identity.

What this isn't

A ranking here means one thing: money. It is not a measure of an account's quality, popularity, or authenticity, and it is not an endorsement by us of anyone listed. Anybody can list any public account, including one they don't own.

grambid has no affiliation with Instagram or Meta. We use public profile information only — the same things any visitor to a profile page can see.

Two different checks, stated plainly

The tick beside a handle means Instagram has verified that account — it is their badge, read from the same public profile you would see yourself, and nothing to do with us. No tick means Instagram has not verified them, or that we haven't been able to look. We never award it ourselves.

Separately, we try to confirm an account exists before taking payment. Instagram has no public API for this, so the result is best-effort: we reject a handle only when we can positively say there is no such account. When we simply cannot verify, the listing goes through and says so on its own page.

We would rather let an unconfirmed listing through than wrongly reject a real account. Read the rules for what that means in practice — chiefly that a typo is your responsibility, because a bid cannot be refunded.

Follower counts and profile pictures come from the same public profile header, are captured when an account is listed and refreshed periodically, and will lag whatever Instagram shows right now.

Money

Payments run through one of two processors, depending on availability: Razorpay, which supports UPI, cards, netbanking and international cards, or Dodo Payments. Checkout names the account the money is going to, and the bid is for grambid (grambid.in) either way. With Dodo Payments, which is a merchant of record, it is Dodo's name that appears on your statement rather than ours.

Bids are non-refundable. You are paying for a position on a list that someone else can take from you by paying more. Please treat it as entertainment and spend accordingly.

Contact

Questions, removal requests, reports, a listing in the wrong category — all of it goes to one place: DM @grambid.in on Instagram. There is no support mailbox. The account is the channel, and it is the same one this board is about.
