How the board works
Short version: Instagram handles only, bids add up, most money wins, nothing is refundable.

What can be listed
- Instagram accounts only. A
@handleor aninstagram.com/<handle>URL. Links to posts, reels, or any other site are rejected at submission. - The handle must be syntactically valid per Instagram's own rules: letters, numbers, periods and underscores, 1–30 characters, no leading or trailing period, no consecutive periods.
- A small set of handles is blocked — mainly platform-official accounts that invite impersonation.
- One listing per account. Submitting a handle that is already listed adds your bid to its existing total.
Ranking
- Listings are sorted by cumulative total bid, highest first.
- Bids accumulate. A ₹500 bid on an account already at ₹2,000 puts it at ₹2,500. Nothing is ever replaced or reset.
- If two accounts have the identical total, the one that reached it first ranks higher.
- An account with no confirmed payment does not appear on the board at all. It joins the moment its first bid is credited.
Bidding and payment
- Minimum bid: ₹99. Maximum for a single payment: ₹5,00,000.
- The suggested “claim” price on each row is simply that row's total plus ₹1. It is a suggestion, not a rule — any amount at or above the minimum is accepted, and your listing lands wherever its new total puts it.
- A bid counts only after our server confirms it with the payment processor. A completed checkout screen is not the same thing. Confirmation is usually a few seconds; use Refresh on the board.
- If a payment fails or is abandoned, nothing is credited and the account does not move.
- All payments are final and non-refundable. Being overtaken is the expected outcome, not a fault.
Daily boards
- A day runs midnight to midnight, IST. Every day gets its own board on the Daily page.
- A day's rank is what was bid on that day alone, not a running total — which is why a modest bid can top a quiet day while the all-time board is out of reach.
- Every bid counts toward both its day and the all-time board. There is nothing separate to enter and nothing extra to pay.
- When a day closes its ranking is final, and past days cannot be bid into. A late payment confirmation is credited to the day the payment was actually taken, so a board can settle a few minutes after midnight.
Categories
- The category belongs to the account, not to your bid. Whoever lists a handle first picks one, and it is fixed from then on — later bidders are not asked, and cannot change it.
- That is deliberate: a category is how the board is browsed and ranked within, so letting each new payer recategorise an account would let anyone move someone else's listing.
- Miscategorised? DM @grambid.in with the handle and the category it should be in, and we will move it.
The blue tick
A tick beside a handle is Instagram's, copied from their public profile. We do not issue it, we cannot grant it, and paying more will not earn it. If Instagram verifies an account after it is listed, the tick appears here the next time we refresh that profile.
Checking the account exists
This is a separate check, and it runs before payment. Three outcomes:
- Confirmed — the account exists and the bid proceeds.
- Confirmed not to exist — the submission is rejected and no payment is taken.
- Couldn't check — the listing is allowed, and its page says the check was inconclusive. Check the spelling yourself before paying; we cannot refund a bid placed on a typo.
Moderation
- You do not need to own an account to list it. If you are the owner and want a listing removed, DM us.
- We may remove any listing — including a paid one — if it is illegal, impersonates someone, targets a private individual, or is being used to harass. We are not obliged to refund a removed listing, but we generally will where the listing was removed through no fault of the payer.
- Every listing has a report link. Use it, or DM @grambid.in.
- Removals, reports, corrections — all of it reaches us the same way, as a DM to @grambid.in. There is no support mailbox; the account is the channel.
Fair play
Automated submissions, payment testing, and attempts to manipulate click counts will get listings removed without refund. Click counts are a rough public signal, not an audited metric.
A removed listing comes off every board, total and page, and its handle stops taking bids. We keep the payment record — removal is not a refund, and the ledger has to stay complete — and we can put a listing back if we got it wrong, at the total it had. If yours came down and you think that was a mistake, or you want your own account taken off, DM @grambid.in.
